To add a slide

  1. Place your insertion point in the slide after which you want to add the new slide.

    You can also place your insertion point on the section title to create the first slide of the section.

  2. From the Insert menu, choose Slide.

A new slide is created. If your insertion point is at the end of the slide title, the new slide will be inserted after the current slide. However, if your insertion point is anywhere else in the slide title, the new slide will be inserted before the current slide.
